Kyle Callaghan
Kyle will finish off the 2023/2024 season with the U16 Caps team and return to the organization to lead the 2015 age group. Kyle brings with him AAA coaching experience (CRC and BHI) and a strong skill development background as the owner of Wild Wolf Hockey. Kyle will create a strong foundation for our U10’s with a skills-based development program that promotes in season success and builds a long-term development plan for the future of our program.Mike Jones
We would like to welcome Mike to the Credit River Organization. Mike is starting his Caps tenure with the U11 Capitals team. He brings over 16 years of high-performance hockey development and AAA coaching experience in the GTHL with various organizations. He was also named an Assistant Coach with the Aurora Tigers Junior ‘A’ team in 2021. As a Skills Specialist, Mike has trained several OHL & NHL players both independently and in group settings. His dedication and energy for the game is contagious, we’re excited to bring Mike on board given his proven track record of success - developing and advancing individuals, and teams. Mike believes in creating an engaging program that also prioritizes player enjoyment for the game, he’s looking forward to moving this group forward and to their future successes.Marco Conte
We welcome back Marco for his 3rd season with the Caps organization. In our inaugural season, the 2013 age group finished the regular season with a .203 winning percentage. Marco’s season plan and strong development program resulted in a successful playoff run that lead the team to a birth in the OMHA finals. Under Marco’s leadership, the team has continued to build on the success of last season with a winning record in the regular season and finals appearances at the Platinum Cup in Toronto and the Taylor Hall Classic in Kingston. We look forward to Marco’s continued leadership, positive energy and future successes with this team.Dwayne McKillop
We would like to welcome Dwayne to the Credit River Organization. With 18 years of head coaching experience in the GTHL, OMHA & Junior hockey Dwayne comes to us with a proven track record of success. Dwayne has coached a variety of age groups at the rep level including ’02, ’04, ’06, ’08, Junior A & B and will join the Caps to lead our 2012’s on their hockey pathway. With over 400 coaching victories on his resume and his background working in professional sports and event management Dwayne believes that sports are more than just a game. It is a great way to teach many life lessons while working hard and still having fun in competition and the sport you enjoy. Dwayne is a Hockey Canada High Performance certified coach and former Canadian University player. Known for being a communicator and teacher Dwayne & his staff have helped graduate many of his former players to the GOJHL, OJHL, BCHL and OHLTom O'Grady
Tom played his Junior hockey locally for the Bramalea Blues and Brampton Capitals before receiving a full athletic scholarship to Merrimack College – Division 1 Hockey East. Post school, Tom went on to play professionally in Germany for 10 years. Tom has coaching experience in Minor Hockey coaching for 10 years in Germany with additional experience at the AAA and Junior level since 2008 in the GTHL, OMHA and OPJHL leagues.We welcome Tom to the CRC organization.Randy Smith
Randy and his staff are returning to continue the winning culture they have created with the 2010 age group. Last season, under the leadership of Randy and his staff, the 2010 Caps team won the SCTA league championship and came within an overtime goal at the OMHA finals for a birth to the OHF Championships. This season, the team continues its winning ways by having the best winning percentage in the OMHA providing them with the opportunity to represent the OMHA at the Ontario Winter Games in Thunder Bay. We are excited to welcome Randy back and have him lead this team through the conclusion of their U16 season. We look forward to what the future holds for this team.Brent Mulder
Brent played Junior hockey locally for the Brampton Capitals before playing four years in the OHL for the Belleville Bulls and Toronto St. Michael’s Majors followed by a stint in the ECHL. Brent is returning for his second season with the Credit River Capitals bringing the dedication and intensity he had as a player to the bench. His extensive elite level hockey experience is an asset to the Credit River organization and to the players he works with. Brent is dedicated to developing the players and team while preparing them for hockey at the next level. Andy Meth
Andy Meth has been a coach and hockey skills instructor at the Professional, College, Junior A and minor hockey AAA levels for almost 25 years. He has coached and personally trained countless players who have moved on to the highest levels of hockey.In addition to his coaching experience Andy was formerly a Professional, Collegiate and Junior hockey player. He will be going into his third year with the Credit River Capitals AAA organization.Andy has the experience and knowledge to prepare our players for the next level of hockey.
