The U13 Caps have qualified for their fourth consecutive OMHA Championship competing this weekend in Kinston, ON, beginning Friday March 27th, 2026. The team fell one game short of winning the #Red Hats last season losing the final game and taking home silver. The team looks to better that finish this season and take home the championship. The U16 Caps continued their successful season capturing Gold at the OMHA Championships this past weekend in Peterborough. The team went undefeated (3-0) during the round robin before beating the Quinte Red Devils 5-4 in the semi-finals with a dramatic overtime win. In the final matchup, the Caps finished off a come from behind victory 4-2 with an empty net goal against the York Simcoe Express winning the organization's first ever OMHA Championship. On Friday March 6th, the 2008 born Capitals were recognized as they graduate from minor hockey. Each player was gifted a personalized picture frame from the U18 team and presented to them with their families before the game.

On Sunday March 8th, the U16 Caps completed their 2025/2026 league play before leaving or Peterborough to compete for the OMHA Championship. After the game, three players were recognized for their dedication and commitment to the 2010 AAA program spanning the last 8 years. Daniel Juarez, Cameron Gout and Nathan D'Onofrio all began their AAA careers with the Novice (U9) Brampton 45's and continued with the program all the way through their U16 year with the Caps.

Evaluation skates for the 2026/2027 have been scheduled with U10 - U13 divisions commencing on Saturday April 18th, 2026 and U14 - U18 divisions on Monday April 20th, 2026. All skates are 90 minutes and will be held at Susan Fennell Sportsplex located at 500 Ray Lawson Blvd, Brampton. The registration link with additional information will be open early April.
